Rustic Summer Wedding - Vicki and Dave

I loved every minute of shooting Vicki and Dave's wedding! The love they have for each other radiated from them continually. Vicki and Dave met through their job of supervising cleanup of nuclear plants. They have had the wonderful opportunity to travel across the country, for their job, and work together.

Although it was a casual wedding, it also was a beautiful one! The bright colors she chose were perfect for summer. They went well with the rustic, country feel of the cowboy boots and hand-made wooden details at the reception.

Vicki's dress, as well as many other areas of her wedding, could be summed up in one phrase: simple and beautiful.

Vicki was excited to have two of her granddaughters be part of her wedding. Cortlyn was the cutest flowergirl ever, and Camryn made a beautiful ring bearer.

I couldn't help but smile as I watched Vicki and her maid of honor, Rose, talk and laugh!

The ceremony was held in a little old church there in Skandia. The service was beautiful. You could see both Vicki and Dave tear up as they vowed to love and serve each other for the rest of their lives.

Their happiness was clearly apparent from the big smiles they wore for their portraits.

When I first walked into the reception hall I was awe stricken with the country charm that was in every centerpiece and detail. I was impressed with Vicki and Dave's gorgeous wedding cake. The fresh flowers cascading down the front add an unexpected touch of elegance.

The reception was light and fun with lots of dancing.

I could tell this was truly the best day of their lives. There was an air of warmth and friendliness in the whole building as they were surrounded by family and loved ones to celebrate their marriage. As everyone danced the night away, I couldn't help but think how blessed we were to get to document this sweet couple's love story. Vicki and Dave, I hope the memories you made are never forgotten and the bond you have made is never broken. Congratulations!

Blessings,

Beth
