From finding an ice castle and sliding around on snow-covered roads in February, to military helicopters and having a personal aircraft chauffeur in March… Serena and Jakob’s engagement photos were an adventure! I LOVE all the awesome ideas they had. We had so much fun hanging out on two different days to make this aviation-loving couple’s engagement session dreams come true! :)

The morning was cold and snowy but Brandi and her mom still happily drove out to meet for Brandi's senior photo session! We started in Niagara, Wisconsin to take some pictures in front of the majestic bluffs. I have been wanting to do a session there for several years so I jumped at the chance when Mrs. Bousley suggested it! The snow was frozen just enough to keep us from sinking all the way to the ground as we walked from the road, to the river-side, to the bench and pavilion.

This blog post is dedicated to Allie's Grandpa who passed away just a few days after their wedding celebration.
Allie and Brian met as 13 and 14 year-olds when their mutual friend, Tyler, invited them both to go on a trip to Great America which Tyler says should give him the credit for Allie and Brian getting married. Allie was smitten right away, but they lived several hours apart so they didn't see each other much and Brian blew her off. That summer, Allie begged her older sister to drive her to see him but she didn't feel like it so she refused. Dana insists that SHE is the reason they eventually got together because "How many 13 and 14 year-olds relationships do you know that have lasted?"

I love celebrating Independence Day! We always spend it together, doing something fun as a family. This year we were able to spend it with extended family, celebrating not only our nation but also my Uncle Tim and Aunt Stephanie's recent marriage!
We left for Oshkosh early in the morning, so we could watch the city's parade. My younger siblings love watching the floats and big trucks go by. Part way through Tim and Stephanie's joined us.

Isaac's graduation party was a success! There was a good turnout, lots of delicious food, and fun activities for the kids. Isaac's mom, Mrs. Aderman, put together old and new pictures on boards, in a photo book, and in frames. It was so fun looking through them and finding pictures of our families when we were little.
