Romantic, charming, relaxed, elegant. These are the first words that come to mind when I think of Theresa and Craig, and their wedding day. As different as they are from each other, Theresa and Craig make the perfect match.
The wedding was small and simple, with just their immediate and extended family attending. The day went incredibly smoothly thanks to Theresa's careful planning. The ceremony was held at the Mansfield Pioneer church in Mansfield, Michigan. This little church was built well over a century ago and has been recently restored. It is the CUTEST church I have ever seen! ♥ One room log cabin style, decorated with kerosene lamps, a wood stove, a real, functional pump organ, and flowers. It gives me all the vintage vibes! It is definitely the ideal wedding location for anyone who loves antiques and historical buildings.
The ceremony was beautiful and filled with happy emotions. There were photos and a poem set up as a memorial for Craig's parents and for two of his children who are no longer with us. Craig's face lit up with the biggest smiles as little Ellie and then his beautiful bride walked down the aisle. His sister, Cheryl, officiated the wedding. She gave an inspiring and heartfelt message and performed the classic Celtic tradition with Theresa and Craig of "tying the knot". They were pronounced man and wife and walked back up the aisle together, grinning from ear to ear at their loving families lining them on either side!
Taking pictures with these two sweethearts was fun and oh-so-easy as they were totally naturals and hardly needed any posing direction! So happy and romantic. :)
Theresa's idea for the reception was a relaxed and light-hearted atmosphere and it was just that. It was hosted at and catered by George Young Complex. There was a beautiful cupcake tower created by Angeli's in Iron River, a selfie station, candy bar favors, and lots of AMAZING food! Everyone was having a good time visiting and holding the adorable babies! ;)
Thank you, Theresa and Craig, for letting us be a part in your wonderful wedding! We really enjoyed every minute of getting to know you! :) May simply being together make your life "Happily ever after"!
