The morning was cold and snowy but Brandi and her mom still happily drove out to meet for Brandi's senior photo session! We started in Niagara, Wisconsin to take some pictures in front of the majestic bluffs. I have been wanting to do a session there for several years so I jumped at the chance when Mrs. Bousley suggested it! The snow was frozen just enough to keep us from sinking all the way to the ground as we walked from the road, to the river-side, to the bench and pavilion. As soon as I snapped this photo of Brandi leaning out of the pavilion, her hair laying nicely and natural smile, I knew it would be my favorite from her session! Did I forget to say that her sweater is also my favorite color? <3
Next we went to the ever-popular Fumee Falls in Norway, Michigan. Brandi carefully made her way to sit on a large rock amidst the frozen-over waterfall before hiking up the stairs (and filling our shoes with snow!) to get some cool pictures at the top of the falls!
Last of all, we swung over to the old train depot in Iron Mountain, Michigan. I have to say, Mrs. Bousley is AMAZING at picking locations! The vintage building is one of the coolest things I have ever seen! It was the perfect place to take some pictures with Brandi's clarinet and trombone which she has played since middle school. By this time, the wind had picked up and it was getting quite chilly. Brandi did great at smiling through the cold. ;)
I think we both enjoyed exploring the locations a bit and getting some really great shots! Afterward, my sister and I went to get coffee to warm us up after being out in the cold.
I still have spots open if any 2018 seniors still need their pictures done for their yearbook, graduation invitations, and to share with friends and family! Give me a call or email and we can set up a winter or spring shoot!
